An ancient river is reborn in a desert in Israel in about 2 minutes without a drop of rain, as prophesied in
Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.“
The river’s source is upon the slopes of the Ramon Crater (pictured) – a geological feature located at the peak of Mount Negev, some 52 miles (85 km) south of the city of Beersheba – and it ends in the Dead Sea

- The return of the flood waters are because of heavy rain in mountainous regions several miles away from the arid land
- For centuries the dry area, which is a massive creek bed, has seen the disappearance and return of water in a series of flash floods
