A controversial event happened in Wheaton College in Chicago, one of the strongholds of evangelical faith in America, when one of their professors Larycia Hawkins claimed that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. The debate which ensued is: Do Christians & Muslims worship the same God?
We came across a well balanced treatment on this question in Eternity Magazine, an interdenominational Christian magazine published by the Bible Society Australia.
They invited two theologians to give Yes / NO answers. Reading these two writers is refreshing. We not only can understand the Bible truth on the concept of the One True God, but we can also see how these two men of God skilfully carry out the advice of the Apostle Peter: “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15
