Same-sex attraction: We have been posting articles about the destructive same-sex issue over the past months. We have just read an article which has changed our whole idea about how we can approach this subject as Christians.
Wesley Hill is an ordained pastor and celibate gay Christian. He wrote frankly about his struggle and pleaded for understanding and love from Christians. Reading his thoughtful article and his biblical insight we begin to understand how we
Christians can extend a hand of love to these people who are struggling.
He suggested how same-sex attraction can be directed in a way that is life-giving so that Christians can find positive ways of love and friendship without sexual, genital expression.
Please read: “Another way to look at same-sex attraction” .
Silent prayer forbidden
In our Current News section we also posted a report from The Australian newspaper of a man arrested and fined for standing alone in a street, praying silently. A police officer gave him an infringement notice for ‘protesting’ in an “Exclusion Zone” in the vicinity of an abortion clinic. This happened right in Australia in Tasmania.
Read “Silent prayer forbidden”.
We thank God for loving, harmonious, edifying relationships among all the family members – a legacy which we hope fervently for all to pass on for future generations.
