CHILD’S PRAYER:

Our Father who does art in heaven. Howard is your name…
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from some emails

TALE OF THE NIGHT CLUB AND THE LOCAL CHURCH:

In a posh suburb, a man decided to open a night club opposite the church. The pastor and his members campaigned against this but the local authorities granted the man’s request. So the church resorted to fervent prayer.  Work continued for several weeks and just as the nightclub building was about to be completed, a powerful bolt of lightning struck the premises and burnt it to the ground.

The night club owner sued the church saying that the prayers of its members resulted in an act of God and the destruction of his building. The church, however denied all responsibility and insisted that there was no link between their prayers and the owner’s loss.

The judge heard all the arguments and read all the submissions and commented, “I don’t know how to decide this case. It appears we have a night club owner who believes in the power of prayer and we have an entire church that does not”.

Here’s some Answers from Tests given in a Catholic Elementary School on Moses:

Moses led the Hebrews to the Red Sea where they ate unleavened bread which is bread made without ingredients.

The Egyptians were all drowned in the dessert and Moses went up Mount Cyanide to get the Ten Commandments from God.

Moses died before he reached Canada.

The greatest miracle was when Joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed.
