A Word from Goldie.
Dear Friends, instead of a Christmas card we send you our website newsletter. Our new project for 2015 is producing this website. It has been wonderful keeping us more mentally alert & keeping dementia at bay.
Tek has been fondly recalling memories of his youth and has entitled his series “Far away and long ago…” He admits that his memory may not be too accurate but the gist of it is true. Here he recounts his enjoyable days in HK Christian Association at a momentous turning point during Christmas when “The Christmas Goose was not cooked”.
“Blessing the community” is how a group of local pastors in a suburb in Perth work together to bring Christmas cheer to the needy in their community. It may give ideas to other Christian groups to do likewise, not necessarily only during Christmas.
“O Holy Night” is our longtime favourite. See the video and remember with grateful thanks why we are celebrating Christmas.
